After doing my venue presentation it made me look at live performances in a different perspective. It made me wonder different things such as how did that set get there? how long would that take?
This clip is from a live performance by a supporting group called Metro Station. I noticed how the setting was a lot less than the main act and a lot less lighting was used. I thought i would put this video on my blog as research from live performances.

iMovie

During the end of September we made our own iMovies on a topic of our choice. I chose fashion in 3 different places (London,Paris and New York) I used one of the globe effects pointing out where in the world the catwalk was from. I used roughly 3 images for each place using different effects in between such as 'wipe' and 'crossfade'. When the city changes i showed the journey on the globe. Special text is also used 'pixie dust' when showing the cities coming up. I enjoyed making my first iMovie.

Putting on a show

Another task we where given was to find out information on 2 venues one in liverpool and one not. We made a presentation on these 2 venues answering several questions and displaying them creatively. I was given positive feedback with advice for how to improve next time. This advice included;
less information on some slides and make it slightly brighter to appeal more.

Creating an animation

During October we where given a task to create an animation based around Chinese New Year using serif. I edited an image of the internet using Adobe photoshop which I used as the main feature in my animation. The theme was the seasons changing which led up to new year where I put lanterns in her hands as lanterns are a signature item in chinese new year festivals. Creating the lantern took me around 2 weeks as i had a few problems and had to use stop frame instead of key frame.
